Anime Shorts: Quick Episodes Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This policy explains what Anime Shorts: Quick Episodes (the “app”) does with your information. The app has no user accounts and no sign-in. You can use every feature without telling us who you are.
What we do not do
- We do not ask for, or store, your name, email address, phone number or any other account identifier.
- We do not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.
Information collected
| Data | Why | Who receives it |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising ID | To display ads and limit how often the same ad is repeated. | Google (AdMob) |
| Approximate device and app information used for ad delivery (device type, OS version, coarse region derived from IP address) | To select and render ads. | Google (AdMob) |
| Subscription status | To unlock and restore a Premium subscription. | Google Play Billing |
| IP address and standard request logs | Automatically processed when the app requests catalogue data from our API, in order to route and deliver the response and to block abuse. | Cloudflare (our hosting provider) |
We do not receive your advertising ID ourselves — it is handled inside Google’s advertising SDK. We never receive your payment details: Google Play processes all transactions and only tells the app whether a subscription is active.
Information kept only on your device
Your favorites, watch history and playback preferences are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
Advertising and your choices
Anime Shorts: Quick Episodes shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, using Google’s User Messaging Platform. You can change that decision at any time from the privacy options entry inside the app.
Wherever you are, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings › Google › Ads on your Android device. How Google uses data from apps that use its services is described in Google’s policy.
Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. The app receives only the entitlement state (whether a subscription is active). Cancellation, refunds, payment methods and billing records are managed by Google Play, under Google’s privacy policy.
Content
Anime Shorts: Quick Episodes is a catalogue and player front end. Titles, artwork, descriptions and video streams are retrieved from third-party sources and are not hosted by us. Opening a stream may cause your device to connect directly to those third parties, whose own privacy practices apply and are outside our control.
Children
Anime Shorts: Quick Episodes is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will address it.
Data retention and deletion
We operate no user database, so there is no account for us to delete. To remove everything the app has stored, uninstall it or clear its storage from Android settings. Server request logs are retained only for the short period our hosting provider keeps them for operational and abuse-prevention purposes.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
